Armed with NUMROTOplus software, the NTG tool and cutter grinder from Star Cutter is designed for manufacturing and reconditioning end mills, drills, step drills, taps and form cutters quickly and precisely. NTG’s three-station wheel and manifold changer switches grinding wheels in ten to fifteen seconds. The high volume auto load/unload system holds up to 288 parts, and loads and unloads tools half an inch in diameter by up to eight inches long to an automated tailstock center in fifteen seconds or less.

The Bourn & Koch 1000VBS CNC Gear Shaper is a 40” (1000 mm) gear shaping machine with 8” (200 mm) stroke capability. The first iteration of Bourn & Koch's new 1000 mm size series composite platform machine will be completed in the 3rd quarter 2009. The first configuration of this innovative design is a (1) one meter CNC vertical OD/ID grinder, with hard finishing turning capabilities. It will be first shown to the public at the AGMA Gear Expo, September 15-17, 2009 in Indianapolis, IN.

The open house will include demonstrations of a Blanchard 11-20AD rotary surface grinder and a B&K 100H CNC horizontal hobbing machine, a tour of the new 25,700 square foot office and engineering center and the new 800 square foot demonstration center.
