Federal Broach & Machine Company LLC, Harrison, MI, has appointed Star SU LLC, Hoffman Estates, IL as a sales agent in North America for broach cutting tools and broaching machines as part of Federal's aggressive strategy to expand its marketing reach throughout the world.  Daniel T. Bickersteth, CEO of Federal Broach & Machine Company LLC and David W. Goodfellow, President of Star SU LLC signed the agreement on November 1, 2008. Federal Broach & Machine Company has, since 1952, provided broach cutting tools and broaching machinery to the automotive, large truck, farm, and defense industries. Star SU LLC and Federal Broach have a joint venture service center operation in Queretaro, Mexico, providing regrinding, resharpening, and recoating services for broaches, hobs, and shaving cutters.
