Mark Ritchie was named V.P. Sales Engineering Machine Tools of Star SU LLC, effective January 11, 2010. His duties include managing machine sales engineering and machine parts and service operations.

Mark began his career at Star SU in 2005 as a gear tool project engineer and has since filled the roles of GM project manager and manager of machine sales and applications engineering. He came to Star SU from Gleason Cutting Tools, where he served as a design engineer, specializing in optimizing production strategies for gear manufacturers.

Mark earned both of his degrees, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (2004) and Masters of Science in Project Management and Strategic Management (2007) from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois.          

Star SU LLC offers a wide variety of gear cutting machinery, tools and services. It is the go-to-market cooperative of the partnered companies of Bourn & Koch, Star Cut Sales,  and SU America (a unit of Samputensili S.p.A). All sales, sales engineering, sales & marketing administration, direct sales force human resources, sales Information Technology, and sales distribution for North America are merged into a single enterprise managed by an executive committee made up of the senior management of the (3) companies.
