Star SU Announces Timothy Murdock as Key Account Manager

Hoffman Estates, Ill. Aug. 17, 2021 – Star SU has announced the hiring of Timothy Murdock as a key account manager, focused on representing the company’s round tool solutions to the medical sector and select automotive accounts.

Murdock has spent over 23 years in the cutting tool industry, bringing with him both extensive hands-on and management experience to this role, including programming of the NUMROTO software, deployed on Star’s grinding machines. Prior to joining Star, he was employed by industrial distributor Mahar (Saginaw, Mich.) where he held several positions over his tenure, most recently serving as services director overseeing the company’s orthopedic manufacturing sector. Before Mahar, he spent eight years working for Monroe Cutting Tool Inc.

Murdock has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Baker College (Cadillac, Mich.) with a major in accounting and minor in logic theory.
