Chamfer Deburring Machines

The CDA 250 is designed for chamfering and deburring cylindrical spur and helical gears, as well as shafts, in a single operation prior to heat treatment. Using specialized tooling, chamfering, rolling, and deburring can also be performed simultaneously, supporting consistent edge preparation across a range of part geometries. The machine is well suited for medium- to high-volume production and, with integrated automation, supports efficient, repeatable operation.

The CDA 250 can be equipped with either a swing-arm or gantry loader. The swing-arm loader features a simple, compact design with a swiveling arm and double collet, allowing for straightforward integration into existing production lines. Workpieces can be picked and placed in either horizontal or vertical orientation, and in many cases, no additional automation is required beyond connection to a workpiece conveyor.

An optional gantry loader is available for applications requiring direct integration with upstream processes. The pick-and-place unit travels along a gantry axis, transferring workpieces from the hobbing machine and positioning them for the next operation following chamfering and deburring.

The CDA 250 can be integrated with the hobbing machine utilizing one control or configured as a stand-alone machine.
